U četvrtak 18. i petak 19. marta, 2021. godine Institut društvenih nauka – Centar za pravna istraživanja, u saradnji sa Pravnim fakultetom Erazmus Univerziteta u Roterdamu, Pravnim fakultetom Univerziteta u Mariboru i Udruženjem za medicinsko i zdravstveno pravo Srbije (SUPRAM) je organizovao međunarodnu konferenciju “Responses to COVID crisis in Central and Eastern European Countries – New Frontiers of Health Law”.

Konferencija je bila organizovana u okviru 5 panela: odgovori na zdravstvenu krizu, raspodela vakcina u vreme pandemije, COVID kriza i ljudska prava, pravo na zdravlje u odnosu na druga ljudska prava, novi izazovi zdravstvenog prava. Na skupu je učestvovalo 50 stručnjaka u oblasti zdravstvenog prava koji su se bavili odgovorom na COVID krizu u regionu Istočne i Centralne Evrope. Nakon izlaganja u okviru svakog panela, usledila je diskusija o merama i rezultatima koje su države preduzele i postigle za prvih godinu dana pandemije, uz razmenu mišljenja o pozitivnim i negativnim efektima istih.

Na zatvaranju konferencije, konstatovana je potreba za većim brojem ovakvih skupova, značaj nastavka naučne saradnje i razmene iskustava o stanju na globalnom nivou, kao i u pojedinim državama, u kontekstu pandemije SARS-CoV-2.

Konferencija je održana putem Zoom aplikacije, usled epidemiološke situacije i važećih mera zaštite.
