SUPRAM is hosting a lecture titled ‘Health rights and access to health care of persons with disabilities in residential institutions’, on 2 November 2013, in the Conference room at the Institute of Social Sciences Belgrade, starting at 12 pm.
The lecture will be given by Mrs. Dragana Ciric Milovanovic, Executive Director of Mental Disability Rights Initiative MDRI-S (DRI), member of the NPM against torture and Milan M. Markovic, SUPRAM Secretary General, fellow of the Institute of Social Sciences and legal associate of MDRI-S.
The lecture will focus on the adopted standards under the right to health and treatment in residential institutions, the CRPD Convention, as well as the results and problems from the practice of the National Preventive Mechanism against Torture.
